Users Outlook 2003 connecting to Exchange 2007 can't see free\busy
I have users that are connecting to Exchange 2007 server with Outlook 2003 and they can not see free\busy when trying to book appointments. Is there a way to correct this?

Have you configured a public folder database to support Outlook 2003 users? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123687.aspx Are you in mixed organization with Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007? Deli

I have a Public folder database configured but I'm unsure if it is configured to support Outlook 2003. Is there a way to determine that it is? I do not run a mixed environment, I have only Exchange 2007 running. I have found that users can see some free\busy information, I would have to say that half of the information is reporting back right.

Free/Busy is published by outlook not by exchange So you should verify if your clients publish free busy and which time period because by default it is only 2 months Deli

The clients are suppose to be reporting back every 2 months but they have yet to report in at all. I tried to change to group policy on that setting but it did not make a difference.

Does free busy works in Outlook Web Access. I do think there is something wrong with your Free Busy public folder Deli

Yes the free\busy does work OWA which is 2007 OWA. No one seems to have the issue in outlook 2007 either, but 95% of users use outlook 2003 still.

You might need to reset system public folders http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb331972.aspx Deli
